The Guava Dress

The Guava Dress was created for Charleston Fashion Week 2018 and was inspired by the traditional Cuban guayabera shirt and the delicate beauty of the guava flower. Designed and developed in New York city, the project combined cultural inspiration with contemporary craftsmanship.

I led the design process from concept to final garment, collaborating closely with a pleating studio and a sewing company to bring the vision to life. Seeing the finished dress on display was a rewarding experience that reinforced the value of collaboration, attention to detail, and thoughtful design.
